"If I don’t have a lay for three days I get a headache.” Reactions to the Assassination of John F. Kennedy. Wikipedia.
In the days and years following the assassination of John F. Kennedy, his image was changed to what we know it as today. The events and facts that unfolded post-death would distort the image of Camelot portrayed by his wife. The cheating, addiction, and lies that we know of today are not brought up nearly as much as JFK’s success. To attack a veteran, war hero, and assassinated president would be seen as ill fated, but that does not negate JFK's real infidelity. Kennedy was a sex addict, using it to “relieve pain,” and was even aided in his acts by his friends, and the secret service. He once remarked to a the Britich Prime minister, a senatorial aide, and many others that he needed sex to relieve his chronic headaches.

Marilyn Monroe:
Marilyn Monroe was an American musician, actor, and sex symbol of the 1950s-60s. She was attractive and so was president. JFK and Marilyn met at a friend of Kennedy's party, Bing Crosby, in 1962. Accounts of the affair vary from the one weekend party, to alleged years of affairs, and even speculations of tunnels into the White House. Monroe reportedly had dreams of becoming the First Lady of the United States, even stating those dreams to Jackie Kennedy one the phone (Hall, 2013).

“The fact that I was being desired by the most famous and powerful man in America only amplified my feelings to the point where resistance was out of the question. That’s why I didn’t say no to the president. It’s the best answer I can give.”
-Mimi Alford
Judith Exner:
Exner and JFK’s affair began after a Frank Sinatra concert, in which Frank himself introduced them. She reported that they first made love in New York City on the night of the primaries, and eventually would visit the white house many times, even claiming she once aborted Kennedy’s child. Along with sex, Exner was also involved in business dealings between the mob and the president. “In all, Exner claimed she arranged 10 meetings between Giancana and Kennedy to help him get elected. The courier said that the mob boss once bragged to her that Kennedy wouldn’t have been elected if not for his connections in Cook County, Illinois” (Delong, 2018). Their affair, and business connections, ended after J. Edgar Hoover with the FBI opened an investigation into the mob and organized crime. Exner left her mark on the president after being outed by the FBI investigation. “Exner was the first person to publicly expose JFK’s dark side, describing in detail her affair to a Senate committee and ushering in a period of revisionist analysis on JFK’s presidency” (Browe, 2018).

These affairs were not hidden from the people close to the president, and the Secret Service along with Dave Powers assisted in sneaking prostitutes and lovers into the Whitehouse.
